We really enjoyed our lunch here today. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food tasted great. Recommend! Our second visit, this time on a colder day,...we again found that the ac in the restaurant is not keeping the place cool. We hope they can do something to change this.

Classic downtown brown line cafe. The eggs are fluffy, the gravy didn’t come from a can and home fries are a home run. I highly recommend breakfast here, and it does not break the wallet.

Personal hometown breakfast cafe.. Food is amazing, and the atmosphere draws you to an era of New York style baseball eatery at its finest... The breakfast menu is for any age, while the lunch menu allows you to reflect on the days when everything you ordered was always a great choice... No disappointment, just good Ole Southern hospitality... Family Owned and Family strong.... I personally recommend this Cafe to try.... Everything on the menu has a baseball theme... My favorite menu item is the "caught stealing" (French toast , scrambled eggs, and a side of bacon)... I really love the atmosphere of everyday people enjoying a meal prepared by the amazing ccoks and owner (Jeremy).. Very clean and inviting.. The best part of my experience is the "Owner," who comes out to meet and greet or is very involved in the dining area... Thank you for being one of the greatest asset to the Lake Placid community..

What a wonderful surprise in downtown Lake Placid for lunch today. The town is very busy with a lot going on but we were able to walk in and be seated right away. The place is loosely done with a baseball motif and is clean and very efficient. Orders were taken promptly and prepared and delivered in a timely manner. Food was hot and very good. French fries were a little oily and could have been cooked longer but other than that, food was great. They also gave us a sample of their rolled ice cream which was also delicious. Breakfast and lunch only but give it a try. #stevensleavin

Everything was delicious! Fluffy French toast, tasty kielbasa, the home fries reminded me of Bojangles , so good, the best around! Friendly staff, chef brings your food up to you right away, no waiting for server. Cozy cafe, feels like Sunday morning at the breakfast table with the fam, diner style coffee, will be back for sure!

Great food and atmosphere. Other than the bathroom ceiling, everything was perfect! Service was excellent. My coffee was fresh and always refilled.

had tasty philly cheese steak sandwiches. The dill sauce was a nice addition. They were very busy, took a while to be seated and waited on. The place is small, but the staff is most polite, just a busy place. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly.

We eat here frequently and we love it. Family owned and run, and the baked goods are so yummy! Everything is homemade. Reasonably priced and worth a stop!
